Covers more than 40 walks with maps, clear descriptions, images of birds and commentary on each walk. There is also a guide to the birds of the area with assistance in identifying the more common species. Clear, full colour photos are shown throughout of the birds and habitat for each location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sites are grouped together to assist in exploring places near each other and each site also has an ‘extras’ section to extend your explorations. A brief Accessibility Guide is included for those with mobility issues as well as parents with children in strollers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Victorian Bird Walks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Following on from the very popular “Castlemaine Bird Walks” this book provides a guide to birds and walking for all of Victoria, Australia. Covers more than 60 walks with maps, clear descriptions, images of birds and commentary on each walk. There is also a guide to the birds of the area with assistance in identifying the more common species. Clear, full colour photos throughout of the birds and the habitat of each location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Included are 15 guides to a variety of Rail Trails in Victoria where you can enjoy cycling whilst also finding birds. Many rail trails pass through extensive areas of bird habitat and provide an easy way to see a variety of birds. This is a curated list of trails (and sections of trails) where birding is likely to be good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sites are grouped together to assist in exploring places near to each other and each site also has an “extras” section to extend your explorations.
